Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 May 2026

This is a template and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it. Items in brackets must be completed by the operator.

1. The service

Stricca generates suggested running routes from your input and lets you download them as GPX files. It is provided by [legal entity name].

2. Routes are suggestions — your safety is your responsibility

Generated routes are automated suggestions based on open map data. They may be inaccurate, out of date, or unsafe (for example crossing private land, busy roads, closed paths, or hazardous terrain). You are solely responsible for assessing the safety and suitability of any route before and during use, for obeying all laws and signage, and for your own safety. Do not rely on a route for navigation in conditions where an error could cause harm.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to consent to data processing in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

Map and routing data are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License. GPX files you generate are yours to use. The application itself remains the property of [legal entity name].

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of routes or distances.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [legal entity name] is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of a generated route, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law & contact
